I came across a post of ScienceAlert which talks about chocolates with hologram designs. Because the post involves chocolates, I searched if this is legit.:)


and YES it is true! There is a company named Morphotonix in Switzerland that developed a way to add rainbow hologram designs to chocolates.

If I understand it right, they placed "microstructures" on the surface of the chocolates via injection-moulding so they diffract light which produce hologram designs. Their website says that they focus on engineering controlled roughness of their customized designs.
